History

We set up in 1997 at the University of Rome La Sapienza. Lab P.I. is I. Saggio, associate professor of Genetics and Gene therapy, director of the Master in Life science communication (http://www.mastersgp.it), associate researcher to the Institute of Molecular Biology and Pathology of CNR (http://www.ibpm.cnr.it/).

Activity

Our work focuses on two main research lines (see What section): i) the study of virus cell interactions, and ii) the development, use and characterization of viral vectors for gene therapy, animal modeling and reverse genetics.
