What we do - research

Gene therapy vectors

We use viral vectors for gene correction, RNA interference and disease modelling. Along with this, we study the properties of these viral vectors for intelligent design of their amelioration.

Nuclear envelope in physiology and pathology

We study macro-complexes affecting pivotal aspects of human cell metabolism including genome integrity and intracellular compartmentalisation. We analyse their implication in physiology and pathology, in ageing and cancer, focusing on both differentiated and stem cells.
